Stress Management


Stress management can be delivered in individual and group formats. It typically involves a series of sessions which teach participants practical stress coping skills such as: relaxation training, thought challenging techniques, assertiveness skills, problem solving, etc.

Many stress management programs are based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) principals because the techniques derived from CBT have good research support when it comes to the treatment of stress and anxiety disorders.


Medicare rebates often apply for stress management with a psychologist if you have an appropriate referral.
